In a world rife with startlingly atrocious music in cahoots with torrid attempts at fashion, five young heroes with fire in their eyes and musical genius in their minds, pull forth from their deep, deep well of musical talent a sound that not only narrates a story of love, war, treachery and insanity but also looks to the real world in a bid to help you, the unwanted, to feel wanted and part of something; something decadent, something glorious, something whole. But what of these heroes? Who are they? How did they come to be? Read on and you will see.

It all began, as legends do tend to begin, in a small, not particularly mind-blowing corner of our isle. Five whipper-snappers of similar age, found each other in the inertia of modern living and forged friendships through shared inspirations and aspirations.

Somewhat inevitably a kinship forged through a shared love of music taste will develop into a shared playing of music and thus in a non-descript, arid creative climate, a band of inherent ability was born and for a time it was good.

Aspirations are important and the wish to achieve said aspirations even more so. As one can imagine the unkempt wilds of Suffolk bore little musical fruit and so it was The Big Smoke beckoned, promising gratification in all its delicious forms. But not all our hero’s had the ability to part ways with their roots, and so with a heart full of wonder and a brain full of thoughts,a prince and a thief stole themselves away with the intention of building a dream.

The Big Smoke hadn’t so much as lied but fibbed. Gratification could indeed by gained but in the cold light of day it wasn’t as simple as it had once seemed. Times were tough and the challenges of keeping ones head played heavily on the lonesome twosome as they navigated their way through the greasy, corpulent city underbelly, fat on the dreams of mortals. However they prevailed, dancing to the Ballet Of Teeth and telling tales of Grandomina – a world of Wonder, Vice, Love and Lust – all over town.

As this whole story was meant to be, what happened next was a little predictable but no less thrilling! Two became 5 in a whirlwind of lost jobs, boredom and a need to make music. Back to full strength a Vampire, a Thief, a Prince, a Professor and a Revolutionary began what today has become The Fearless Vampire Killers. The world is theirs but it’s locked. Help them find the keys…
